Since my cover is blown, just head over to my new blog

Okay, as I don't have time to tweak this page the butterflies might stay like that, at least for now. Sorry Nana, was planning to link it to something but the plan never succumbed to anything, hehe.
My convocation is next week. For that I have to sacrifice 2 days of leave to accomodate rehearsal and whatnot. Luckily I have several left. Have to budget for end of year you know, I don't wanna spend my Raya in KL.
My sis is getting married real soon, in July. People have asked me how does that make me feel, as I'm elder. Me, I'm happy for her. A twinge of disappointment that she choose to go ahead with it now, rather wait waiting for a better time, but nonetheless I'm happy that she's heard her
seru, her calling.
Me? No, not yet. Too much going on right now, marriage is still a flimsy fog in my mind.
Ohh well, but I am happy enough as it is. Work has been tough but I'm enjoying it, have great friends at work and outside of work, money is a bit tight but that's all down to me spending every last cent =P Hopefully when I move into my apartment, I have calmed down enough to save for that Plasma TV I've been eyeing. And the home theatre system. And the supercomfy couch I tried at IKEA the othe day.
Temptations!
Had a TPM course at Vistana yesterday, and it sucked. I missed work so much, I actually smiled this morning when I woke up. Funny how much things change without you realizing it. These days I would stay back as late as needed, and I don't mind a bit (mind you we execs don't get OT payment, this is gratis!). I can count with the fingers on one hand how many times I've seen daylight whenever I step out of the building in the past 2 months. Before that work hadn't picked up yet, now it's piling up. For my current pay, it's not worth it. Oh well, one more poor man's salary to go before confirmation (fingers crossed!).
I missed playing the guitar. Not that I'm any good, but I just miss the whole experience. The sheer pleasure in hitting the right notes, the captivating melodies that I struck cleanly out of those 6 strings, I am in my own coccoon. Next time I'm in KB I'm gonna bring back my acoustic guitar. Having an electric is great, but a lot of time I just need the wooden box to straddle and caress.
I'm gonna get an SX Les Paul copy soon. The Epiphone Les Paul at RM1.8k is not worth it, as compared to my level of playing and in that it will just be a home studio guitar.
Kimi bought a Fender Pbass. So now collectively we have 2 electrics, 1 bass and 2 acoustics. That's enough to start a band! Ohh, we still need a drum. And a drummer.
You know what I miss more than work (when I'm away from it) and guitar? I miss free and easy leisure time. My weekends are sometimes too crammed it makes me feel more tired than I already am. Luckily last Sunday was good. Lepak with Arin up on Bukit Ampang, drinking overpriced coffee and watching the lights go out over KL cityscape. I should do more of these things, and less of the normal urbanite nightlife. I'm beginning to feel tired of that, signs of age? Probably. I just skipped through Korn and Slipknot these days. Not Metallica though.
This is one jumbled up post, no essence and no beauty. Someday I should start writing something of significance before my mind goes further towards the land called mediocrity.
Tomorrow is Wednesday already, I have a dinner to attend at KL Hilton. I think all the Resident Managers in RCT are invited to the dinner in honour of Mr Stephen Green, HSBC Group Chairman. Free food, name the place and time and I'll be there!
Took a halfday off from work today to settle things for my convo next month, so last night after work I drove straight to Uniten and bummed with Mache and Yunus for the night. As usual, it would entail serious shisha sessions (don't ever buy lemon, tasted and smelled like floor cleaners). Sipped and sipped until we're sure we can't take anymore shisha lest we puke.
So after lunchtime I came in the office and was quickly bombarded with work. Still have work to do as I write. Note to self, try not to take halfdays again. Better to just take the whole damn day off.
Bought a new pair of shoes yesterday at Avenue K, pretty good deal at 50% off. I've been browsing through MJ Living (at least that's what I think the name is) there as well, and God I can't wait to move into my apartment. I'm anticipating the move even more than I'm anticipating my confirmation and subsequent promotion.
Wanted to get a shirt as well at KLCC, but can't find any decent ones at the right price. G2000 and Isetan was closed down, so can't browse there. Tomorrow am going to Midvalley for a RMT get together as Nad is in town, so will prolly look there as well for the shirt. After that I'm heading to Kota Damansara to get some stuff from my uncle's house, so might drop by OU as well should Midvalley also disappoint.
Duit macam air je keluar, sigh
